What happened to Oliver?????

Oliver left for the groomer looking oh so cute and cuddly.  

Oliver came back from the groomer looking like something out of a scary movie.  I guess that's what you get when you stick your face in paint and roll around in the mud.

Poor guy.  He was embarrassed when he got home.  He's been hiding out all night.

19 weeks- almost half way there!

What the....? OLIVER!

Our dog.  We love him.  But man does he get into everything.  This is how I found Oliver on our couch this afternoon.  He got into blue paint in the basement.  He has a grooming appt. on Thursday- looks like he'll be seeing blue for a few days.

And lets not forget the countless times that he has come to the door looking like this...

I think maybe our next dog needs to be black so the dirt won't show as bad :)

Oliver received lots of fun toys for Christmas, but his favorite was his new friend, the squirrel.  As soon as we got home, he carried the squirrel around the house all day long and even brought him to bed.  I caught him the other day relaxing with his squirrel while gazing out the window.

Was that the baby?

Last night on my way home from work I felt some "taps" in my stomach. Then a few minutes later I felt like there were butterflies walking on my stomach. It is pretty early to feel the baby, so I'm not convinced it was him/her, but maybe it was!  It lasted all night long.  

Also, some good news from the doctor- all of my second trimester screenings came back and the baby tested negative for complications, such as down syndrome.  Sounds like we have one very healthy and active baby on our hands!!!  Jared and I feel so lucky and blessed.

17 weeks, 1 day

I am 17 weeks and 1 day today.  I went to the doctor on Monday and the baby's heart beat was 145.  So far it has been 155, 150 and 145.  Hmmm.....does that mean a boy or girl????  We find out on February 3rd what the sex is.
