Christmas 2013

This year Christmas was really fun because Jackson understood who Santa was and was really excited about him.  He talked about Santa all the time.  Grandma Teach read him books about Santa and Christmas every night she was here.  He even told me that he wanted to go see Santa and ask him for "a monster truck".

So we went and saw Santa.  And Jack was happy as he could be in line.  But then it came time to actually interact with Santa and things took a turn for the worse.  Poor Jack.  Or should I say … poor Santa.

Grandma Teach Visit

Grandma Teach visited for a few weeks before Christmas.  As soon as she walked in the door Jack had her building a gingerbread house and decorating Christmas trees.  We kept her busy while she was out here!  If she wasn't holding Ben, she was playing trains with Jack.  I'm sure she slept for several days when she got back to Kansas :)

Thanks for coming out Grannie Annie!  We appreciate all of your help.  Love you!

On goes the icing.

I think it needs more gumdrops.

Finalizing the details.

Visiting with Aunt Barbara Jo and Cousin Barbara Lou.
Ben enjoyed his visit with Barkley, the dog.

Ben needed a closer look at Barkley.

Having lunch at the Carlsbad Airport.  We saw a lot of planes land and take-off.

Winning big at Chuck-E-Cheese.  Jack traded his tickets in for his usual- sweet tarts and a car.

Boys Just Want to Have Fun

Oh Boy …

Jack looks up to no good ...

… Yep, up to no good.

Jack thinks this is funny.  I do not.

Mush, Mush!

Pulling the boys with Oliver's dog leash.  Poor Oliver was so confused.

Too cute for my own good.

Thanksgiving in Tucson

We spent Thanksgiving 2013 with our good friends, The Harger Family, in Tucson this year.  As always we had a blast.  The kiddos played really well together- especially Campbell and Jack.  Although Campbell couldn't get enough of her life-sized, real baby doll Ben either.

Campbell spent most of her time feeding, playing, changing and tickling Ben.  She was a great mommy to him.

Hi Ben.  Want to play?
