9 and 10 month comparisons

Easter

We had a fantastic Easter. We woke up and went downstairs to check and see if the Easter Bunny had come.  He had!  He really spoiled the boys this year.

After opening the Easter baskets we had breakfast and relaxed for a bit.  Then we got dressed and went outside to see if the Easter Bunny had left any eggs outside.  There was a note by the door that said "Easter Egg Hunt".  The Easter Bunny had left eggs for the boys to find!!!  

After the egg hunt we let the boys play outside for awhile and then we all had a nice family nap.  We ended the day by driving down the coast and watching the sunset.  Perfect ending to a great day.  

Snail!

Jack got a bug container a few weeks ago and he thinks it is so cool.  So far we've caught snails, butterflies and a caterpillar that lasted almost two weeks.

Jack wanted to feed Ben the other day so I told him he could.  They both giggled and giggled- I think I'm on to something here.

Pretend City

Over spring break we went to Pretend City in Irvine with some friends.  It was a little busy, but Jack had a lot of fun.  He found a firetruck and drove the firetruck all over the "city"- even parking it the parking spots!

Balboa Island

We went to Balboa Island in Newport Beach for a day to hang out with some friends who had rented a house for the week.  We had an amazing time.  We rode a ferry, kayaked, played on the beach and searched for shells.  Jack was in heaven.

Bath Time

The boys LOVE bath time.  Ben's favorite toy is the turn dial for the bath plug- go figure.  Jack thinks it's funny to take a bath with Ben- but not so funny when Ben splashes him.
